Time!

Wow! TIME sure does blaze by! I can not believe it has been OVER 2 months since I last filled you all in on the JDMS mission! IN FACT it has been 2 weeks since I started this post! This IS what happens in our relationships- we intend to talk. We start and stop and soon enough...
So where do I begin???? Well...a great place to start any and every conversation is with the TRUTH! GOD is LOVE is TRUTH these 3 are ONE!

The Truth is, it has not been easy AND such a complete blessing to our family! I am moved to tears as I type because it truly has been tough AND rewarding! The kids that are coming show us we are a blessing to them by getting better grades and following the instructions better.
Many come one week and then not the next. Our max has been 30 at one time. Since the first day we have never been under 18. No matter the number God makes the students manageable. Even productive.

In the beginning I asked if anybody would be offended if we prayed as I have said before. Now it is just part of the program. Some of the children even pray out loud leading us. Because of the TIME that we have invested in the children they are learning to trust us. Different ones are beginning to share personal things about their lives. Amazing what the students go through and how a caring ear helps.

​ With four mentors and 18 children on a regular basis I needed reading material in multiples. Our Bible Is something I have in multiples on purpose! Just yesterday several of the children asked if they could read the Bible together. I wish you could have seen there eyes light up as the ability to understand IT grew. Just reading straight from it. They had so many questions as we read. You would have thought they just discovered the neatest newest candy or music beat!

We are ALL entwined in HIS Kingdom. HIS Body is full of LIFE that connects ALL across this great universe in which HE created! I am so completely thankful for this mission! The TIME we are giving is the gift. Time IS priceless! Be sure to set AND keep your Cup Of Time dates! It truly is blazing by! Stay connected with your family as the rhythm of 2016 rushes on!
