Hey world! My name is Lisa Ellen Dirnberger founder of Cup Of Time. Well actually I shall say facilitator of Cup Of Time for I LOVE GOD and He gave me the vision for Cup Of Time. I am just fortunate enough by His Grace to bring it to you! I did not always know God. In fact it wasn’t until the completely unexpected death of my sons father that I was completely ready to let God in.
I remember being so lost in the inability to take my son's pain away. Having this mountain of pain enveloping our lives I completely surrendered to Him. As I called He came closer. As I submitted He lifted me up.

I remember having this vast thirst for knowledge around this same time. I said it multiple times as I worked the behavioral health unit where I was one of the Charge Nurses, day and day out. I LOVED my job. It allowed me to help people, especially those that could not help themselves. I remember a return of child-like enthusiasm and curiosity...it was exciting! As well as a bit scary.
My colleagues naturally were stirring me in the direction of further formal education. It just didn’t seem to make sense for me. Just didn’t fit. One gal who remains dear to my heart reminded me about God and gave me a book called Purpose Driven Life. Though I LOVE books, I am not a diligent reader. This one was simple and like its name purposeful, so I read it. God used this book to help me understand the value of assembling in a Church body. God used that book to get a hold of me...or shall I say, for me to get a hold of HIM. (HeeHee!) Because HE always is with us.

There are a multitude of miraculous changes HE has made in my life and that of my sons. During the formation of Cup Of Time He reminded me how much He LOVEs families! Of course He loves us all individually as well. In this formation of this endeavor He illuminated how much our families have been under attack since the beginning of TIME. (Most of us have noticed this.) The family is the smallest most valuable unit God has ever created. The tribe of Judah was a family. The Levites were a family. The Benjamites…their seed naturally through man and woman, husband and wife growing, multiplying throughout the beginning of TIME.

While I was on my quest for purpose our Lord God gave me a vision. I KNOW so completely trippy! Because it truly was a vision! Visions happen while you are awake, dreams are when you are asleep. I was with my natural father, Phil, and stepmother, Rachel. We were at this magnificent Gala event which he invited me to for my birthday. A company which God lead me to work with for a season which began right after that night, called Primerica. The whole event centered around doing what is right, being your best and always letting Truth be your leader. Rick and Dick Hoyt, who are well known for their testimony about Rick’s ability to feel free through his father’s (Dick) LOVE when they run. Powerful human beings right here! Look them up and support them if you can. They have a book, It Is Only A Mountain.

At this event, I was filled with a Hope I can not completely explain or understand. It was miraculous! When I looked up into the dome of this Kansas City Gala, saying let me be this Hopeful, this inspired and inspiring continually...The vision came...all across the space between myself and the ceiling...homes magnificent loving beautiful homes with the Words that read: Homes That Faith Built. It has been many years since that vision. I have been through countless trials and twists that have brought me to the full understanding that Cup Of Time is Homes That Faith Built! Every family that uses Cup Of Time to stay together bound in their LOVE, every person that uses Cup Of Time with Jesus to get closer to Him, stay DEEPLY rooted in Him will grow in Faith. I am excited for our journey of LIFE through Cup Of Time. Time is one thing we ALL have in common. It marches along no matter what any of us is doing. Two other things we ALL have the same is free will and a choice to serve our ONE GOD. I am excited to go on this journey of LIFE with you through Cup Of Time. 

I LOVE GOD. HE has become my first LOVE. I hope He becomes yours too.
